PERMANENT GALLERIES

Checkout our fascinating, interactive exhibits! The Ancient Basin includes Mammoth Hunters and Archaeology, Paleontology, Geology, Dinosaurs, and Fossils. The Last West features the history of the Big Horn Basin from the 1800's through 1920 including major events such as the Spring Creek Raid, Johnson County Wars, Cattle Barons, and much more!

The museum's new natural history exhibit, located on the mezzanine above the temporary gallery,
features numerous examples of Wyoming wildlife. Visitors can interact and learn about each of the animals using a touchscreen kiosk located near the entrance to the permanent galleries.
