"My beadwork is centered around interpretations of local Wyoming petroglyphs (rock art) as framed art pieces. I also design amulet (spirit bag) necklaces. I am a self-taught artist with an eye for detail and a love of creating things with my hands. I work with Japanese Delica beads (14 beads to one inch), creating original designs inspired by petroglyphs using brick stick or peyote stitch. A finished project that is framed can take 50 to 100 hours. I am not Native; however, this ancient art ‘speaks to me’."

Sponsored by the Wyoming Arts Council through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts
