Sean McCotter strives for balance in his landscape paintings by staying true to the scene, and by painting key details in a way that brings them to life in an imaginative and relatable manner. As an artist he hopes his artwork inspires viewers to be more observant of nature when out enjoying it. A self taught artist, Sean learned to paint in oils but has found the acrylic medium to best accommodate his technique. Sean paints primarily western landscapes, and enjoys the vast array of the terrain and lighting conditions that the big skies of the West provide.
