Museum Social Impact in Practice Study
The Washakie Museum has been accepted to participate in the American Alliance of Museum’s
Museum Social Impact in Practice study.
The goal of this national study is to better understand and measure the positive impact that museums have on visitors and communities. We are proud to be included in a group of 40 museums from across the country, and one of only two Wyoming institutions undertaking this multi-year study.
The data we gather, combined with data from other museums, can help us advocate and build stronger relationships with policy makers, our local community, our funders, and other stakeholders. Read more details about the study here.
