This very special group returns to the museum to sing, drum, and dance while explaining the cultural significance of their music and regalia
October 5 “ART OF HOME: A WIND RIVER STORY”, 6-7pm
A Q&A will follow the screening of this documentary which showcases local artists as they create new pieces and contemplate what it means to be a ‘Native artist’
October 7 BEADING WORKSHOP for ages 13+, 10-12pm
Join artist Marisa Xochitl as she guides you in creating your own beadwork using traditional Mexican motifs and techniques
