Fiber Art

Born in Indiana my love of the lush green countryside and majestic autumn colors were my first artistic inspiration. Living in the West with its wild, beautiful and vast landscapes gives me daily inspiration for the varying aspects of my art. I like to use
fabric to create original fine art pieces that engage the viewer from a distance, yet invite a closer look.

Pencil

I am a self-taught artist using mostly pencil/graphite but have done watercolor and oil paintings as well. I have always loved to doodle and sketch but started drawing more seriously about 9 years ago as stress relief and to release some of my creative energy. I was raised in the western and outdoor lifestyles so I concentrate on these subjects. However I have also done commission pieces for friends.
