10:00am-3:00pm daily Ages 10-17 $75 museum members | $80 non-members Includes all supplies, a t-shirt, and lunch on the last day of camp Participants need to bring their own lunch, snacks, and water bottles Students will get to participate in hands-on activities each day to learn what real archaeologists do and how they do it! Activities include: field mapping, compass work, experimental archaeology, and a mock excavation. Camp will end with a game and prizes!

Washakie Museum Curator, Stefanie Kowalczyk, has worked as a professional archaeologist for over 10 years for numerous state and federal agencies, universities, and museums. She holds an M.A. in Archaeology/Cultural Heritage Management with a focus in public history from the University of Minnesota and is a member of the Register of Professional Archaeologists (RPA), the Wyoming Archaeological Society (WAS), and the Wyoming Association of Professional Archaeologists (WAPA). She currently works as a consulting archaeologist for BNSF evaluating historic railroad bridges across the mountain west.
