The Museum Singers was organized in the fall of 2009 by Museum Staff member Sherryl Ferguson for the purpose of providing local experienced musicians an opportunity to learn and perform advanced choral literature. The now 16-member Museum Singers and accompanist meet weekly and represent Worland, Greybull, and Thermopolis, Wyoming. Their debut performance was the 2009 Christmas at the Museum concert in collaboration with soprano Kathleen Ferriss.They have performed several vocal concerts including a performance for the state meeting of the Wyoming Municipalities of Clerks and Treasurers, a Christmas performance for Pepsi, participation in a community variety show, and in May 2010 the Museum Singers performed American Masterpiece Compositions for over 1,400 people in a two-day period at the Grand Opening and Gala events at the new Washakie Museum.
They are available to perform at your event for a fee.
